Nurse – Orthopaedics
The Nurse in Orthopaedics plays a key role in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate care within the Orthopaedic service at Glasgow. As an essential member of the multidisciplinary team, the Nurse provides high-quality clinical support to patients undergoing treatment or recovering from trauma, fractures, elective orthopaedic surgery, and musculoskeletal conditions.
Core responsibilities include patient assessment, diagnosis, development and implementation of care plans, monitoring clinical outcomes, maintaining accurate medical records, and contributing to audit, governance, and service improvement initiatives. The role also involves active participation in team meetings, training sessions, and quality-driven activities that enhance patient experience and support service development.
